Study, design, implementation and testing of an innovative signalling system intended to ensure the safe operation (inside the tubes) of PODs.
The central control system will consist of a set of trackside and on-board subsystems designed to ensure the following functionalities
Functionality:
– correct spacing between PODs
– speed supervision with respect to the limits allowed by the line constraints;
– protection against line constraints and automation of POD traffic operations;
Actions:
– determine pod position and speed
– control propulsion and braking;
